Why become a member?

DANSK BIOTEK is an industry organisation for the Danish biotech companies engaged in research and development of drugs and industrial biotechnological products.

As a member of DANSK BIOTEK your company will get:

  • access to an official body capable of influencing politicians, authorities, and the press to improve the conditions for the biotech industry
  • assistance in concrete issues in relation to authorities etc.
  • access to an exclusive industry network
  • free access to DANSK BIOTEKs membership events
  • information about national and international arrangements and decisions relating to the biotech industry
  • membership of EuropaBio – The European industry organisation
  • advantageous third party agreements which DANSK BIOTEK enters on behalf of its members
  • marketing of your company through the DANSK BIOTEK website and marketing material

Who can become members?

DANSK BIOTEK is a member organization for biotech companies in Denmark. Danish companies engaged in research, development or production of drugs or other products containing biotechnology (biotech companies) and their parent companies are eligible for membership. Furthermore, investment funds, which are active holders of biotech companies can be admittet as ordinary members.

Private companies and organisations, who to a significant extend advice or assist biotech companies are eligible for associated membership.

 

The board of directors evaluates applications for membership.

What does it cost?

The annual membership fee is dependant on the number of employees in your company:

Less than 10 employees: DKK 4.000

10 to 200 employees: DKK 10.000

More than 200 employees: DKK 20.000

 

Associated members: DKK 10.000
