NatImmune initiates phase IIb clinical study with BAMLET Topical Gel for skin warts.
NatImmune A/S has announced the initiation of a phase IIb clinical trial designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of its BAMLET Topical Gel, a protein-lipid based proprietary dermatological product candidate, for the treatment of recalcitrant warts in immuno-suppressed kidney-transplanted patient when applied locally to wart lesions. Results from the phase IIb clinical trail are expected in the second half of 2008 and these results, if positive, will form the basis for a decision to initiate phase III pivotal trial both in the USA and Europe in 2009.
