Sunstone Capital Raises EUR 180 Million for New Investments in Life Science and Technology

In a Second Closing in the fundraising of Sunstone Life Science Ventures Fund II and Technology Ventures Fund II, Sunstone Capital has raised a total of approximately EUR 21 million. The Second Closing commitments bring the total commitment to both funds to EUR 181 million, which is capital for new investments. Sampension Private Equity F.M.B.A., who has invested in both funds, and Finnish Industry Investment Ltd., who has invested in the Technology fund, join existing institutional investors Industriens Pension, Nordea Liv & Pension, Tryg i Danmark, MP Pension, Lønmodtagernes Dyrtidsfond and Danish State-backed Vaekstfonden as well as private investors through a feeder fund managed by Carnegie Private Banking. Total funds under management amount to EUR 411 million.
